  • • 1 large onion, chopped
  • • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • • 2 cups beef broth
  • • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • • 1 tsp paprika
  • • 1/2 tsp salt
  • • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Add uncooked macaroni. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Remove from heat. Stir in cheddar cheese if using. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
